**POSITION SUMMARY:**


This role is for a Technical Writer who will support the
Client Services area in CS&T. The
objective of this role is to collaborate with our business partners to help
design and document new and existing procedures. This person will engage with
business partners to analyze, implement and update processes by using sound
process improvement models and techniques.


**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:**


+ Act as a thought partner working with thebusiness to identify and mitigate regulatory risks where applicable throughprocess documentation

+ Collaborate and influence audiences acrossdifferent functions and at different levels in the organization

+ Develop professional content that addressesregulatory issues, e.g., SOX and SSAE16, where applicable

+ Facilitates documentation meetings with multiplebusiness partners; responsible for standardizing procedures

+ Works with various functional units to analyzeand document current business processes and determine areas for improvement(reliability and efficiency). Includes reporting out to business and/or upperleadership

+ Works effectively with business lines toidentify opportunities to improve business process and optimize value throughthe application of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvements tools andmethodologies

+ Produces high-level documentation and visualcommunication to drive and improve TIAA operational processes.

+ Ensures alignment and focus on business unitwith cross-site operations and company-wide goals, strategies and priorities.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**


Required Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's degree required. Preferred degree inCommunications or English

+ 3 or more years of direct technicaldocumentation experience or relevant job experience including financial and/ordata research and analysis experience

+ 3-5 of years of experience with Visio and MS Word,Excel, Access and PowerPoint (SUMIFs, Pivot Tables, VBA Lookups)


Preferred Qualifications:


+ Must have excellent oral and writtencommunications skills, in addition to critical persuasive and influencingagilities

+ Solid understanding of the technical writingprocess and linear approach to process design and experience following theguidelines from the Chicago Manual of Style

+ Excellent presentation capabilities necessaryfor facilitating and negotiating with various business professionals
